In medicine, stagnation is not an option. The field evolves rapidly, with new research, techniques, and technologies emerging constantly. As a physician, I see it as my responsibility to stay informed—not just for my own professional development but for the well-being of my patients.
I keep up with advancements through daily MOCA questions, podcasts like ACCRAC, and journals from APSF and ASIPP. Beyond formal education, I’ve found that some of the best learning comes from collaboration—listening to colleagues, discussing cases, and being open to new perspectives.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that knowledge alone doesn’t make a great physician. The ability to apply it effectively, communicate it clearly, and adapt it to individual patients’ needs is what truly defines medical excellence.
